TWINLAB-WABDL WORLD BENCH PRESS AND DEADLIFT CHAMPIONSHIPS
November 10-15, 2004 ~ The Peppermill Hotel/Casino - Reno, NV

One of my pre-meet day psyche-ups was watching the awesome Dr. Tom Eiseman (left) easily pulling 755 lbs. (342.5 kg.) for a new WABDL Men's Open World Record in the 181's and hanging out with him afterward and talkin' deadlifting. An awesome lifter and the best gentleman to travel with in an elevator up to the 16th floor of the Peppermill (after dehydrating, of course)... LOL :) |

97-pounders (and lighter) united! The beautiful Sandra Stowers, me,
and my son (and aspiring World Champ lifter someday) Glen. This was
taken after I pulled 303 lbs. (137.5 kg) and was finished for the day (then
we
talked deadlifting of course, lol). Sandra and I have been raising the bar
(literally)
on the WABDL National Deadlift Record throughout 2004 and are both shooting
for the World Record!

Me and the very strong Virpi Pukkila of Helsinki, Finland after the ladies
benched.
She was the World Champion in the 132 Women's Open! Those Finnish lifters
are some strong people - and a pleasure to meet.
| Here's my 3rd attempt bench, 160.9 lbs. (73 kg) locked out - a new WABDL Minnesota State Record in the Women's 97 lb. Open, and a 12 lb. personal record for me. Christine Goroza and NAMEA Designs (Hawaii) photographed the entire meet (yes, every one of the 700+ lifters) and created great images like this one, on-site. | ![]() |

Another really neat image taken by Christine Goroza... this was shot just before I officially locked out with my shoulders pinned back (which I always do at the top of a pull whether required or not). This was my 3rd attempt 303 lb. deadlift, once again raising the WABDL Women's Open National and Minnesota Record in the 97's. It was also an 11 lb. personal record and one of the hardest-fought pulls I have ever experienced! |

That same 303 lb. deadlift from my husband Neal's view... locked out!

My 2nd World Champion trophy of the day. Yay! :)
More images still to come...
